Game Drives

Game drives are the heart of a stay at Oltukai Mara Camp. In open 4x4 vehicles, our guides read the Maasai Mara carefully — tracks in soft earth, alarm calls, light angles, and the quiet signs that turn a good drive into an unforgettable one.

Typical days include a cool morning departure and a late-afternoon outing ending toward sundowners. Midday is for rest at camp so you stay sharp for the hours when wildlife is most active.

What you may see

Resident wildlife includes lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and diverse antelope. During migration months, wildebeest and zebra concentrations can transform the plains into one of Earth’s great wildlife spectacles.
